Brent’s cultural sector receives a £550,000 boost from Arts Council England, funding the three-year ‘Vi-Brent’ initiative to inspire over 7,000 young people through diverse arts programmes.
Nine prominent arts organisations in Brent have secured £550,000 in funding from Arts Council England’s National Lottery Place Partnership. This funding aims to enrich the borough’s cultural sector, empowering underserved communities and nurturing young talent through the arts.
The three-year initiative, titled ‘Vi-Brent,’ will engage over 7,000 children and young people aged 4 to 25, offering innovative programmes in immersive theatre, orchestral music, carnival arts, and filmmaking.
