India is making a strong mark at the International Food & Drink Event (IFE) in London, as the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) presents an impressive display of the country’s agricultural offerings, processed foods, and alcoholic beverages. The event, which kicked off on Tuesday, serves as a major platform for Indian exporters to tap into the UK market.

The India Pavilion features an array of value-added homegrown products, including fresh fruits, processed foods, and beverages. From juicy mangoes and pomegranates to a premium range of processed foods and a fine collection of Indian liquors, the exhibition offers visitors a comprehensive view of India’s agricultural and food sectors.
The inauguration of the pavilion was marked by the presence of Sujit Ghosh, Deputy High Commissioner of India in the UK, and Rakesh Dahiya, First Secretary (Trade, Tourism, and OCI). They were joined by officials from APEDA, underscoring India’s commitment to expanding its agricultural footprint globally. This participation at IFE London 2025 aligns with APEDA’s mission to promote Indian agricultural products worldwide.

Some of the standout products at the event include fresh Indian fruits like mangoes, pomegranates, and guavas, as well as a premium selection of processed foods. Visitors can explore offerings such as Basmati rice, honey, namkeen, peanut butter, makhana, and a variety of sauces. The exhibition also showcases an assortment of alcoholic beverages, including Rampur Indian Single Malt, Sula wines, Godawan, Old Monk Coffee Rum, Jamun Gin, and Jaisalmer Gin, providing a unique taste of Indian craft spirits.
Special emphasis is placed on promoting organic products and millets, with India also highlighting the health benefits and versatility of its homegrown fruits like mangoes and pomegranates. Indian food staples like Ready-to-Cook (RTC) dishes, including Rajma Rice, Samosas, Dal Rice, Sarson Ka Saag, and Chana Rice, are also on display. Attendees can sample a variety of Indian delicacies, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian Basmati Rice Biryani and Millet Khichdi, allowing them to experience authentic Indian flavors.

The strategic participation of India in IFE London 2025 is a part of the country’s broader efforts to expand its presence in the global food and beverage industry. The event provides an invaluable opportunity for Indian exporters to connect with potential buyers, foster new business collaborations, and promote the diversity and quality of India’s agricultural and processed food products. APEDA’s presence at this prestigious event demonstrates India’s commitment to enhancing its agricultural exports and securing a greater share of the global market.

APEDA, a statutory body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, plays a pivotal role in developing, facilitating, and promoting the export of agricultural and processed food products from India. With a focus on sustainable growth, APEDA aims to establish India as a key player in the global food and beverage sector.
India’s participation in IFE London 2025 marks another step forward in its efforts to increase its agricultural exports and build lasting business relationships with the UK and other international markets.
