Charli D’Amelio Streamlines Her Skincare Routine Amid Broadway Role

Charli’s partnership with CeraVe has also come full circle, as she was recently named a Head of CeraVe, alongside NBA star Anthony Davis and college basketball star Paige Bueckers

Charli D’Amelio, the 20-year-old social media star, has had to adjust her beauty rituals since taking on her latest role on Broadway in +Juliet. Performing eight shows a week in the fast-paced environment of the theater, Charli is making the most of her downtime by simplifying her skincare routine to focus on rest and recovery.

In a recent interview with Pop Sugar, Charli explained how her approach to skincare has become more efficient. “You focus on what to prioritize. My routine has gotten a little bit smaller, but everything is very streamlined and necessary, which is really important. I’m not spending time just doing things when I could be resting my body or taking care of my body,” she said.

Her skincare needs have also shifted due to the demands of the show. As part of her performance, Charli wears a full face of makeup and a wig every day, which can take a toll on her skin. “We also wear a full face of make-up and a wig every day. That’s going to affect everyone’s skin. So you have to adapt accordingly and find what works for you,” Charli explained.

One of the key changes to her routine has been the introduction of micellar water. “I’ve never used micellar water before. I wear a lot of tight line and waterline eyeliner on the show, so to save myself from dark eyes 24/7, I started using the CeraVe Hydrating Micellar Water ($15) to take it off, and it’s made a huge difference,” she said.

Charli’s partnership with CeraVe has also come full circle, as she was recently named a Head of CeraVe, alongside NBA star Anthony Davis and college basketball star Paige Bueckers. Charli has been a longtime user of the brand, and she shared her excitement about the collaboration. “I never had to pretend; I truly do use their stuff every day. It makes it really easy for me to be honest and share [my product recommendations] with people,” she said.

In addition to her successful skincare routine, Charli reflected on her Broadway journey. “I didn’t think that this could be in the cards, and it was one of those dreams that I always believed was too far away. So being here now and getting to do eight shows a week, doing what I love around people I love, it’s been incredible,” Charli said, expressing how grateful she is for this dream opportunity.

With her busy schedule and commitment to maintaining healthy skin, Charli continues to prove that balance is key, both on and off stage.
