Ben Falcone Jokes About Melissa McCarthy’s Disapproval of His Clean-Shaven Face

While McCarthy may not be thrilled with his clean-shaven appearance, Falcone enjoys how he feels without facial hair. He joked, “I feel like a hot new guy when I’m clean-shaven

Ben Falcone has admitted that his wife, Melissa McCarthy, isn’t fond of his clean-shaven look. The 51-year-old comedian and filmmaker, who is currently growing out a grey-tinged beard, revealed that Melissa prefers him with facial hair, especially since the grey has started to show.
Falcone shared his thoughts on The Julia Cunningham Show, saying, “It is a pretty marked difference [without the moustache]. But also, Melissa… let’s just say nicely she does not enjoy the look of my face unadorned with hair. She no longer likes my face.” He laughed, adding, “She likes it now with a whole beard even though my beard is going grey, but now it’s going grey like shock white.”

While McCarthy may not be thrilled with his clean-shaven appearance, Falcone enjoys how he feels without facial hair. He joked, “I feel like a hot new guy when I’m clean-shaven.” However, when he mentioned considering shaving it off again, McCarthy hesitantly responded, “It’s fine, no you look good. No, it’s fine.”

The couple, who share two daughters, Vivian and Georgette, are known for their quirky parenting style. Falcone and McCarthy have previously admitted to using reverse psychology as a parenting tool. McCarthy shared how their daughter Georgette, an anime fan, likes to experiment with bold looks, including face paint and blue hair, without expecting any serious objections from her parents.

In an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, McCarthy said, “I think they’re always waiting for me to be like, ‘Wait a minute!’ But instead it’s like, ‘Yeah, you want a neck tat?’” She also recounted how, at 19 months old, she gave her daughters henna pens to let them decorate their arms, stating, “I’ve given them henna pens so they can do whatever.”
As for the blue hair incident, McCarthy took it in stride. “She wanted me to be like, ‘This is outrageous!’ I’m like, ‘Great! We can shave half of it off.’” Her belief is that by not reacting strongly, her daughters will eventually get bored of trying to shock her. McCarthy quipped, “That’s my theory. If I just keep being like, ‘Do more,’ they’ll get so bored with it. Now that I’m announcing my reverse psychology, I just screwed myself.”
