Halo Studios has confirmed that major news about the future of the Halo franchise will be unveiled during the Halo World Championship 2025, scheduled for October 24–26 in Seattle.
The announcement was made via the studio’s official Halo Waypoint blog. Formerly known as 343 Industries, Halo Studios stated it will “continue the conversation” around new Halo projects at the event.
Tahir “Tashi” Hasandjekic, the studio’s esports lead, added: “If you want the official scoop on what Halo Studios has been working on, you won’t want to miss this year’s Halo World Championship.”

The upcoming event is expected to reveal gameplay footage, platform plans, and possible new spin-offs. With Halo Infinite still active and the franchise’s 25th anniversary approaching in 2026, this October’s reveal could signal a new era for one of Xbox’s biggest brands.
Speculation has also mounted around possible PlayStation or Nintendo Switch releases as Microsoft leans into multi-platform publishing.
Tickets for the Halo World Championship are already on sale. The event will stream globally via Twitch and YouTube.
