Their deal, reportedly signed with Warner, will allow the brothers to use their images on various products linked to the comeback tour
Noel and Liam Gallagher are set to make millions more from their highly anticipated Oasis reunion tour this summer, thanks to a lucrative deal that secures the use of their image rights. The brothers, who are reportedly already set to bank £65 million each for their reunion, are said to have secured an additional £20 million for the use of their likenesses on a wide range of merchandise, according to The Sun.
Their deal, reportedly signed with Warner, will allow the brothers to use their images on various products linked to the comeback tour. The band, which is set to embark on a summer tour starting in July, has already sold millions of tickets, and now the Gallaghers are looking to capitalize further by ensuring that their image is not used without authorization.
Documents filed last month at the Intellectual Property Office show that Oasis is working to protect their likenesses, having applied to trademark the black-and-white promotional photo that was used to announce their reunion. This move is aimed at preventing unauthorized sellers from using the image on products like clothing, books, and even unusual items such as paintbrushes.
A source in the music industry told The Sun that the Gallaghers have secured a massive merchandising deal for the upcoming tour. “Oasis have secured a huge deal for their merch this summer, as they know everyone will want something to remember the shows by,” the source said. “They’ve already started working on an extensive merchandise range after signing a very lucrative deal for it last year. But now they’re seriously cracking down on fake merchandise, because it could really hurt their profits unless they act now.”
The brothers are reportedly taking a tough stance on counterfeit merchandise and have made it clear they won’t tolerate any unauthorized sellers. They plan to use the full extent of the law to prevent anyone from capitalizing on their image without proper authorization.
Noel, 56, recently expressed his surprise at the overwhelming demand for tickets to the Oasis comeback shows. “I thought it’d be a big deal, but I was a bit taken aback by just how much of a big deal it was,” he admitted.
The Oasis 2025 reunion tour is set to kick off in Cardiff, with the band moving on to perform at venues across the UK and internationally. With just 93 days remaining before they take to the stage, the band is finalizing its preparations, which include not only rehearsing but also ensuring their merchandise strategy is in place and that legal protections are set against counterfeit goods. As the band gears up for their much-anticipated return, it’s clear that the Gallaghers are leaving no stone unturned to make the most of their reunion.
