Paris Hilton is celebrating two decades of fragrance success with the launch of her new scent, Iconic, marking 20 years of collaboration with beauty manufacturer Parlux. The 44-year-old socialite, who debuted her first perfume, Paris Hilton, in 2004, reflected on her journey and expressed pride in how far her venture has come.
Speaking to WWD, Paris said, “My sister and I always used to go into my mom’s boudoir—she’s always been collecting fragrances her whole life—and we would just play with them. I remember saying to my mom, ‘One day, I’m going to have my own perfume,’ and now I’ve turned it into one of my multibillion-dollar businesses. It just makes me so proud, from that moment to now.”

Sharing her excitement about the collaboration, Paris said, “I’ve been shopping there for many years. I love the experience of going into a store—seeing everything, smelling it, feeling it. I just love Ulta Beauty. Everything they do is amazing, and I’m excited to expand my brand and connect with their community of beauty enthusiasts.” When asked about her views on beauty, the Stars Are Blind singer said she believes true beauty “comes from within.” She explained, “I can see beauty through someone’s eyes, through their heart. I think the most beautiful thing about a person is their heart and how kind they are. Kindness is beautiful.”
Meanwhile, Parlux praised Hilton’s vision and dedication. Lori Singer, President of Parlux, said, “Every minute, nine bottles of Paris Hilton Fragrances are sold worldwide. Paris is the OG. She’s been around since the beginning. She had a vision, loved fragrance, and wanted to create a brand—it all stems from her love of fragrance.” Paris Hilton’s fragrance empire has reportedly generated more than $2.5 billion in sales, reinforcing her status as a true beauty industry mogul.
