SEEKING HELP

26 European leaders, excluding Hungary, reaffirmed their commitment to continued military and defense support for Ukraine, emphasizing the importance of “peace through strength” and calling on Russia to demonstrate “genuine political will” to end the war. The European Council confirmed its support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, pledging further comprehensive aid and urging a credible path to peace that includes humanitarian efforts and the release of prisoners of war. The EU also expressed readiness to strengthen security guarantees for Ukraine and increase military assistance to address its urgent defense needs.
