The Smashing Pumpkins Announce Massive Outdoor London Concert

Their last London appearance was a sold-out show at The O2 in June 2024, where frontman Billy Corgan’s children joined him on stage during a performance of Beguiled.

The Smashing Pumpkins are set to rock London’s Gunnersbury Park on Sunday, August 10, with special guests Skunk Anansie and White Lies. More acts will be announced soon. This will be the alternative rock legends’ first UK show since the surprise release of their album Aghori Mhori Mei last August. Tickets go on general sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 14, via Ticketmaster.

Their last London appearance was a sold-out show at The O2 in June 2024, where frontman Billy Corgan’s children joined him on stage during a performance of Beguiled. Fans were treated to hits such as Zero, 1979, and Tonight, Tonight, as well as a cover of U2’s Zoo Station.

Corgan recently spoke to Kerrang about the band’s approach to setlists, emphasizing their refusal to play only fan-favorite hits. “I don’t play any songs I don’t want to play,” he said, adding that concerts are designed to spark curiosity about their lesser-known tracks.
