Enfield Schools Rated Among Best in Ofsted Inspections

While Ofsted no longer issues an overall grade, many schools in Enfield have received ‘Outstanding’ ratings in multiple categories.

Enfield schools continue to shine, with 98% of institutions receiving at least a ‘Good’ rating in all four key areas assessed by Ofsted Inspectors. This positions the borough as a leader in educational excellence, reinforcing its commitment to high-quality learning environments for students.

Ofsted Ratings Highlight Strong Performance

All secondary schools, including academies, and all special schools in Enfield have been recognised as ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ in key areas of assessment. These areas include Quality of Education, Personal Development, Behaviour and Attitudes, and Leadership and Management. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of Enfield’s schools in fostering student success and well-being.

While Ofsted no longer issues an overall grade, many schools in Enfield have received ‘Outstanding’ ratings in multiple categories. This year’s evaluations further highlight the borough’s dedication to maintaining high teaching and management standards.

Laurel Park School Achieves ‘Good’ Rating

Among the most recent schools to achieve this recognition is Laurel Park School, which was awarded a ‘Good’ rating across all subcategories in November 2024. The success of Laurel Park School exemplifies the borough’s ongoing efforts to ensure a high standard of education for all students.

Upcoming Changes to Ofsted Assessments

Looking ahead, Ofsted is set to introduce a new report card system for all schools in 2025. This change aims to provide a more detailed breakdown of school performance, offering parents and stakeholders a clearer insight into the quality of education provided.

Commitment to Educational Excellence

Cllr Abdul Abdullahi, Cabinet Member for Children’s Services, praised the dedication of Enfield’s educators, saying: “This is a testament to the dedicated team across our schools and academies in the borough. Their commitment has enabled us to provide the highest standard of education to our pupils in Enfield.

“I want to congratulate our teams, pupils, and governors and thank them for playing a crucial part in ensuring every child in our borough has the best opportunity to succeed.”

This achievement underscores Enfield Council’s ongoing efforts to create an educational environment where students can thrive. With a strong focus on development and support, schools in the borough continue to set a benchmark for academic excellence.
