Following the Air India plane crash near Ahmedabad on Wednesday, authorities in India and the United Kingdom have released multiple emergency hotline numbers for relatives of passengers aboard Flight AI171, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner that was en route London Gatwick from Ahmedabad Airport.

The air crash, now confirmed to have claimed most of the 242 lives onboard, including 53 British nationals, has been described as one of the worst in recent Indian aviation history.
