Van Morrison has revealed plans for a limited UK tour, set to kick off in March 2025. The legendary 79-year-old jazz and blues icon will perform a series of intimate concerts at carefully selected venues across the country, including stops in Nottingham, Birmingham, Oxford, and Stroud.
The tour begins on March 18 at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham, followed by a performance at Symphony Hall in Birmingham on March 19. On March 23, Morrison will take the stage at the New Theatre Oxford, before concluding the run at The Subscription Rooms in Stroud, Gloucestershire on March 24. Tickets for these highly anticipated shows will go on sale at 9am GMT on February 7 through Ticketmaster.

The upcoming UK shows are in support of Morrison’s 2024 album New Arrangements and Duets, which features unreleased tracks from his extensive archive. The album includes collaborations with notable artists such as Willie Nelson, Joss Stone, Curtis Stigers, and Kurt Elling. Morrison has long desired to record with Nelson, and they finally teamed up to record the songs “What’s Wrong With This Picture?” and “Steal My Heart Away.”
In a previous interview, Morrison shared his excitement about working with the 91-year-old country legend, describing the recording process as relaxed and professional. He praised Nelson for his natural musicality and compared him to Ray Charles in terms of his versatility.
Morrison’s last tour, the Accentuate the Positive tour, celebrated his 2023 album and featured a memorable performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
