Amanda Seyfried Shares Funny Red Carpet Mishap and Fashion Regret

In addition to her fashion choices, Seyfried shared a funny and embarrassing moment from the 2023 Critics Choice Awards

Amanda Seyfried recently revealed her most recent impulse purchase—a pricey cashmere sweater. The 39-year-old actress confessed that she spent “way too much” on the luxury garment made from the undercoat of certain breeds of goats and has been wearing it every day to get her money’s worth. “I have to wear it every day until I get my money’s worth,” Seyfried joked in an interview with People. She added that she did the same thing with another cashmere sweater two years ago, wearing it non-stop until people began to notice and ask if she was okay.

In addition to her fashion choices, Seyfried shared a funny and embarrassing moment from the 2023 Critics Choice Awards. While talking to actor Glen Powell, the actress experienced a wardrobe malfunction when her vintage dress began to fall apart right before his eyes.

“My boobs fell out of my dress,” Seyfried revealed. “It was kind of sewn together and started truly falling apart, literally falling off of me on the red carpet.”

She recalled lifting her arms while chatting with Powell, only for her dress to completely give way. “We both screamed, and like the gentleman he is, he covered me,” Seyfried said, adding that Glen “didn’t look… I think.” To save the situation, Seyfried borrowed someone’s jacket to cover up.
Despite the wardrobe disaster, the actress maintained her humor and gave a lighthearted account of the incident, which she will surely remember for years to come.
