RESTORING FORMER GLORY 

Oxford Street has suffered in recent years due to a combination of the pandemic, the growth of online shopping and other factors. Urgent action is needed to give our nation’s high street a new lease of life. The Mayor is developing proposals to pedestrianise Oxford Street and transform it into an exciting, green and thriving destination for Londoners and tourists alike.
